Hydro Cycle

The Hydro-Cycle is a packaged wastewater treatment plant developed to serve a population of 2-50 people. It is a 3 chamber system comprising of a primary settlement chamber, biological treatment chamber and final settlement chamber.

The purpose of the plant is to treat domestic wastewater to an environmentally friendly level allowing it to be discharged into the ground through a percolation area. It is designed to accept waste from domestic toilets and kitchens.

The first chamber is a primary settling chamber. It is where the wastewater enters the system. Undigested solids are trapped in the bottom of the this chambr allowing only murky water to enter into the treatment chamber.

The second chamber functions as a biological reactor. It is where bacteria grow on the surface of a plastic media placed inside the chamber. Bacteria growth is possible due to oxygen been supplied by a diffuser which is placed at the bottom of the chamber and produces air bubbles. The bacteria then cleans the wastewater and reduces the levels of BOD, COD, suspended solids, phosphorus and ammonia.

The third chamber is a secondary settling tank, this is where any small solid particles still in the flow have the opportunity to settle to the bottom of the chamber. This reduces the levels of suspended solids within the treated water before discharge. A sludge return pipe continuously returns any settled solids to the primary chamber for further treatment.

Aquapur

The Aquapur is a packaged wastewater treatment plant developed to serve a population of between 2-50 people. It is a 2 chamber system comprising of a primary settlement chamber and biological treatment chamber.


Aquapur works through the use of SBR technology - it provides efficient treatment at a low operation cost. The system based on Aquapur SBR sewage treatment plant is designed to treat household sewage to the required environmentally friendly level. Each Aquapur system is adjusted accordingly to treat sewage from households depending on the number of people living in that particular house.


The SBR Aquapur sewage treatment plant has a full report and a CE certificate of conformity with EN 12566-3. This constitutes an independent verification of the efficiency of treatment, durability, water sealing and resistance of the sewage treatment plant.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Stage 1: Feeding phase
The wastewater in the pre-treatment is fed into the SBR reactor (activation). It is fed out from the sludge buffer at a pre-determined height, with the quantity being limited.
An air lift pump is used for this purpose.

Stage 2: Aeration phase
In this phase the wastewater is aerated in the activation basin. The reaction betwen the bacteria and optimally supplied oxygen, griest the best solution for the breakdown of the biological waste. The disc or pipe diffusers on the ground are used for the aeration.

Stage 3: Sedimentation phase
In this stage neither feeding nor aeration takes place. During the sedimentation phase the activated sludge separates from the clear water. A layer of sludge forms on the floor of the chamber, while a clear water zone forms in the upper area.

Stage 4: Extraction phase
The biologically treated water is fed from the upper area of the basin into receiving waters or drainage. The sludge on the basin floor is transported back to pre-treatment. Air-lift pumps (Mammoth pumps) are used for the extraction, without the need for any pumps being in the water.

 

SBR Sewage Treatment Plants

SBR biological sewage treatment plants manufactured by JFC Polska Sp. z o.o. are designed for treatment of sewage coming from households and  sewage of similar composition from small residential units, boarding , resorts, hotels  or small plants located in places without communal sewage systems or sewage treatment plants or in places that require temporary treatment plants. Due to using new technologies the treatment plants reach a high level of contamination reduction, consume little energy and do not require frequent sludge removal, which results in low cost of operation. The treatment plants are produced and approved for trading  in  compliance with the newest requirements of EN 12566-3+A2 and have CE marking. 

The SBR technology assumes gradual treatment of the incoming wastewater.  The basic treatment is carried out in portions. The process of treatment of each portion is carried out in cycles that can last up to several hours, these are divided into five stages. Aeration occurs by way of an aerating pump that releases compressed air in controlled intervials.  The aerating pump and the control systems are all installed in asecure control box. The control box has solenoid`s that regulates the release of the oxygen intro the bacterial living inside of the treatment plant.

This bacteria is what breaks down the sewerage. The whole control system can easily be installed and it connects simply to the mains via plug in a socket. Once connected the system works automatically, this is because all of the functions and parameters comes pre-set into the systems controller. Thus giving you an efficient and fast treatment of the sewerage, with a high quality end water result.

Septic Tanks

A septic tank is used to treat raw domestic wastewater to a level that is suitable for discharge into the ground through percolation. Internal solids are allowed to settle to base of the tank and a scum forms on top of the water. The settled solids are anaerobically digested, reducing the volume of solids. The liquid portion of the wastewater flows through the tank and into the percolation area where biological treatment takes place before the flow meets the water table.

Septic tanks may be installed subject to consent, in applications where soil is of a suitable porosity and Installation will not contaminate any watercourse. A standard range of tank sizes are available.

Pump Stations

The GreenTech underground tanks are the perfect solution for many applications: this can range from domestic wastewater treatment plants, to underground rainwater harvesting, and can also be used as grease & oil separators. To suit your requirements additional oil and grease separators, modules can be added to fabricate a larger tank; this is done with the use of an extension insert.

Pump stations provide an efficient and economic way of installing a drainage tank, where gravity flow is not possible. The pump stations are suitable for the collection and pumping of liquids like surface water, raw and treated wastewater. The packaged pump stations are an integrated system, manufactured from medium density rotationally moulded polyethylene.
